SAFETY RULES

I shall:

Completely read all directions before doing any experiments.

Only do what the lab instructions direct me to do.

Be focused only on the experiment I am performing.

Not disrupt any student working on any experiment.

Listen and follow all instructions given by the teacher.

Not do any unauthorized experiments.

Know where all safety equipment is located in the classroom.

Be responsible for any damage done to school or personal property due to my negligence or disregard for the rules.

Ask questions If my part of the experiment is unclear.

Wear safety equipment at all times when required by the teacher, especially goggles.

Report any broken glass immediately after putting a chair over it if applicable.

Clean up all spills as soon as possible.

Not leave my backpack in any aisle.

Keep any lab equipment away from the edge of my desk.

Not wear good clothes when the teacher warns us not to due to the use of bleaches, acids, etc.
